Privacy policy

This policy applies to thepokiesnetcasino.org, an independent casino review site, which is the data controller for personal information collected through this site. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and, for visitors in the EU and UK, the GDPR.

We collect very little. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. Like most websites we also collect anonymous technical data — pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type — to understand how the site is used.

We keep tracking to a minimum. The site is served through Cloudflare, which acts as our content-delivery and security provider and may process technical data such as your IP address to protect the site, and our host keeps standard server access logs. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or profiles, and we do not use Google Analytics. Any cookies set are functional or basic, privacy-respecting measurement, and you can block or delete them in your browser without losing access to the content.

When you click a link to a casino, that operator and its affiliate network may set their own cookies to attribute the referral. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

We use what we collect only to reply to enquiries, keep the site secure, fix problems and improve our content. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. Aggregate analytics are retained in non-identifying form.

Subject to the Privacy Act and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to certain processing. Email [email protected] and we will action reasonable requests promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
